Christmas with Becić (HR)

The Vladimir Becić Elementary School in Osijek organized for the first time a large initiative called Christmas with Becić, in which almost the entire school participated, but about 40 students of the school were the "main" organizers together with their teachers. 

The goal was to recognize people in need in their surroundings and to take action to provide families and students of our school with equal social opportunities. Through this learning project, the students learned that there are people in need in their environment and that they can do a lot with their actions, without even realizing it. Therefore, together with the teachers, they prepared various materials from which they made various souvenirs that they sold at the Christmas Fair during December 2023. Parents and students jointly prepared a raffle and collected prizes. They all participated together in the organization and implementation of the fair in all phases including decision-makers at the local level as well as local organizations.
